For our client VÍTKOVICE ARÉNA a.s., owner and operator of sports and multifunctional centers in Ostrava, we worked with Erik Odvářka, Digiplant on the project to carry out a comprehensive diagnosis, which included:

- A detailed energy audit of all key buildings, including the Ostravar Arena, Athletics Hall, Multifunctional Hall, Municipal Stadium, Bazaly Complex, and PULS Hotel

- Determination of actual consumption, not only of energy (electricity, heat, fuel, etc.), in the context of technologies and operating modes

- Calculation of the carbon footprint according to the GHG Protocol (Scope 1 & 2) for accurate identification of the largest emitters, broken down by individual buildings

- Identification of the largest losses, inefficiencies, and hidden costs

- Proposal of specific technical and operational measures, including photovoltaics, digitization of energy flow management (EnMS), optimization of ventilation and cooling, modernization of lighting, and other measures

- Creation of a roadmap for a continuous emission reduction plan based on prioritization according to investment intensity, return on investment, and CO₂ reduction

Thanks to comprehensive data analysis, we were able to propose measures that have:

- The potential to save over CZK 11 million per year in energy costs

- A reduction in emissions of more than 1,000 tons of CO₂ per year

- Set up a system for digital energy flow management with regard to the need for data for sustainability and CO₂ reporting

By combining experience, CODIS methodology, technical data, emissions calculations, and proposed measures, we have created a tool that has an immediate operational and strategic impact.

This is exactly what a modern approach to sustainability looks like, one that makes sense not only environmentally but also economically, helping companies save money and grow.
