Life Cycle Assessment
& EPD

Enhance your sustainability profile with our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) services. We evaluate environmental impacts from raw materials to end-of-life and translate these insights into a clear, standards-based EPD. This helps you meet compliance, demonstrate transparency, and strengthen customer trust.

What We Do

Find out the environmental impact of your product at every stage of its life cycle and identify areas for saving energy, materials, and costs. A third-party verified EPD strengthens the confidence of companies that want to place an order with you or collaborate with you. The documentation is designed to move you forward—without unnecessary paperwork.

01

Life Cycle Assessment

We perform a detailed analysis of the product life cycle (from raw material extraction to end of life) in accordance with ISO 14040 and 14044 standards. LCA reveals environmental impacts in key areas – from CO₂ emissions and water consumption to the impact on biodiversity. The results serve as a basis for decision-making and production optimization.

02

Environmental Product Declaration

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a Type III declaration governed by ISO 14025 and ISO 21930, based on life cycle assessment, and transparently communicates comparable, third-party verified data on a product’s or service’s environmental performance

03

Eco-design and innovation

Many companies are looking for ways to design their products more sustainably from the outset. Greenometer can use LCA results to create eco-designs—recommendations on how to optimize materials, production, or logistics. This allows you to develop products with a smaller carbon footprint that will fare better on the market of the future.

We know what AI does not tell you

System Boundary Setting

AI cannot independently determine the correct system boundaries for a product from cradle to gate or grave. Without experts, there is a risk of omitting key life cycle stages (e.g., modules C1–C4 and D).

Life Cycle Modeling

AI cannot accurately model complex material flows in LCA software or correctly assign specific database data.

Complex Environmental Categories

AI cannot correctly interpret and methodically link diverse impact indicators (acidification, eutrophication, water consumption).

Third-Party Audit

AI cannot compile the final EPD report according to ISO 14025 and EN 15804 standards in a way that seamlessly passes an independent external audit and registration in databases like Environdec or CENIA.
