EU Deforestation Regulation
From December 30, 2024, you are be required to prove that your products do not originate from deforested areas and comply with legislation. Greenometer will help you set up the entire process—from portfolio mapping and supplier validation to uploading due diligence statements to the European portal. All outputs are auditable, storable, and ready for the annual EUDR report.
Ensuring compliance with the EUDR
Portfolio and supplier mapping, automation, and connection to the EU TRACES portal
01
Analysis and preparation
Companies often don't know exactly how the EUDR affects their processes and how to prepare all their teams. That's why we start with a detailed workshop and analysis, involving and training all relevant departments—from purchasing and logistics to IT. This gives the entire organization a unified approach and clear procedures for dealing with the new obligations.
02
Data collection and evaluation
With the Greenometer platform, you can manage even extensive supply chains. We enable bulk data processing, methodical risk assessment, and direct connection to the European EUDR system. This minimizes manual work and the risk of errors.
03
Reporting and outputs
We will prepare a complete statement of due diligence (DDS), internal guidelines, and an annual EUDR report. This will allow you to focus on what matters most—the growth and development of your business.
We know what AI does not tell you
Validation of Geolocation Data
The EU Portal does not verify geographic location, and AI cannot guarantee the accuracy of GeoJSON polygons.
Risk Assessment
The DDS requires proof of deforestation-free status and compliance with the laws of the country of origin. However, AI cannot legally assess risks related to land or labor laws. The company bears full responsibility for any algorithmic errors.
Supplier Communication & Vetting
Collecting EUDR data requires mass outreach to partners and matching HS codes. AI cannot provide a human helpdesk or actively follow up on deadlines.
Setting Policies
AI cannot implement processes into company operations on its own, nor can it adjust contractual clauses for subcontractors.
