ISO 50001

Greenometer helps companies implement ISO 50001 as a practical energy management system that connects regulatory compliance, energy efficiency, cost reduction, and decarbonisation. We support clients from the initial gap assessment through data structure, energy review, action planning, documentation, implementation support, and preparation for certification or audit.

What We Do

Helping to prepare your company for ISO 50001 compliance

01

ISO 50001 Gap Assessment & Roadmap

We assess the current state of energy management, existing documentation, data availability, responsibilities, and compliance with ISO 50001 requirements. Based on the findings, we prepare a clear implementation roadmap with priorities, responsibilities, and next steps.

02

Energy Data, Review & Performance Indicators

We help structure energy data across electricity, gas, heat, fuels, buildings, production, and key operations. We identify significant energy uses, define energy baselines, and set relevant energy performance indicators to support measurable improvement.

03

Implementation, Documentation & Certification Readiness

We prepare or update the required ISO 50001 documentation, including policies, procedures, objectives, action plans, monitoring processes, and internal audit support. We guide the organisation towards certification readiness and help ensure the system works in practice, not only on paper.

We know what AI does not tell you

Identification of SEUs

AI cannot independently analyze technological processes and identify major areas of energy consumption directly within operations.

Setting Energy Targets & EnPIs

AI cannot strategically establish realistic energy targets or meaningful key performance indicators (KPIs) without human context.

Drafting Energy Documentation & Policies

AI cannot compile operating procedures, responsibilities, and the complete EnMS documentation required to meet the ISO 50001 standard on its own.

Conducting Internal Audit & Certification

AI will not manage the mandatory internal audit or resolve non-conformities identified by an external certification body.

Validation of Geolocation Data

The EU Portal does not verify geographic location, and AI cannot guarantee the accuracy of GeoJSON polygons.

Risk Assessment

The DDS requires proof of deforestation-free status and compliance with the laws of the country of origin. However, AI cannot legally assess risks related to land or labor laws. The company bears full responsibility for any algorithmic errors.

Supplier Communication

Collecting EUDR data requires mass outreach to partners and matching HS codes. AI cannot provide a human helpdesk or actively follow up on deadlines.

Setting Policies

AI cannot implement processes into company operations on its own, nor can it adjust contractual clauses for subcontractors.
